Fred Thomas Bennett, Sr, 79, of Canton, passed away Saturday, February 15th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Beverly, West Virginia on May 2, 1945, a son of the late Alfred and Geneva (Arbogast) Bennett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Virgil, Jack, and Delbert. Fred worked for Timken doing mechanical maintenance for 35 years before retiring on December 15th, 2000. He was a former member of the Grand Lodge F. & A. M. of Ohio and the Eastern Star of North Canton, before becoming a member of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of Canton. Survived by  his loving wife, Susan L. Tomsello-Bennett; daughter Jennifer Bennett, of Massillon; son Fred (Michelle) Bennett Jr, of Massillon;  5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as other family and friends. Interment will take place at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, in Beverly, West Virginia.
