Freida Patricia Walker, 88, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, March 22nd, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Dover on February 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Robert and Hattie (Huston) Walker, also preceded in death by 3 sisters Norene, Janice, Norma; 6 brothers Charles, B.H., Macon, William, Calvin, Biddie and long time companion Curtis Berry. Survived by son Roberto Walker, of Canton; brother Nazarene Walker, of Cleveland; as well as a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; family members; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 30th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Bryant officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to services, also in the funeral home.
