George S. Yaus

George S. Yaus, 63, of Akron, passed away Saturday, September 12, at his residence. George was born in Akron on April 17, 1952, son of the late Margorie (Gillbert) and Charles Yaus, also preceded in death by a brother Raymond Yaus. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard as Master Chief for 20 years before retiring in November of 1991.

Survived by his beloved wife Susan J. Yaus; three daughters Teala (Thomas) Page of Lithia, FL, Kristen (Dennis) Boyd, Charlene (Charles) Hummell, both of Tampa, FL; four step-children Cindy Hawsey of Talaska, FL, Stephen Grubb of Akron, Christopher Steele of Louisville, KY, Andrew Steele of Fairmont, PA; a sister Shinona Eaglechild, of Canton as well as fifteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
