Gerald "Jerry" Knappenberger, 65, of Canton, passed away Monday, July 22nd, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on September 12, 1953, a son of Donna (Melegari) and the late Harold Knappenberger. Jerry was an amazing Dad and Papa who enjoyed many sports, especially coaching little league baseball. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 36 years Donna (Schumacher) Knappenberger, married March 31, 1983; daughter Nicole Driver; son Steven (Missy) Driver, all of Canton; 3 sisters Karen, Lisa, Sue; 3 brothers Tom, Jimmy, Micky; 5 grandchildren Tyler, Desirae, Aaliyah, Brenden, as well as special grandaughter Nautica; many loving family members and friends.
