Gerald Claude Steese, 94, of Akron, passed away Friday, June 7th, at the Arbors of Streetsboro. Born in Barberton on March 24, 1925, a son of the late Claude and Grace Steese, also preceded in death by sons Wes Steese and David Steese, 2 sisters Gladys and Delores. Survived by his wife Linda (Hartman) Steese, married March 23rd, 1978; daughter Melissa (Stephen) Wornica, of Akron; 2 sons Michael Steese, of Tennessee, Jeffrey (Sharon) Steese, of Ashland; sister Mary Mulholland, of New York; step daughters Elaine (Russell) Moore, Michelle (William) Morgan; and 11 grandchildren.
