Geraldine F Muntean

Geraldine F Muntean, 72, of Canton passed away on Thursday, June 5th, 2014 in the Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness.

Geraldine was born in Allegheny County, PA on July 31, 1941, preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Pettit) Rovenstine, husband of 35 years Norm Barker died in 2010.

A member of and volunteered at the Hope Outreach Ministry, and volunteered at the Total Living Center both of Canton.  She was the Steeler's #1 Fan.

Survived by 3 daughters Frances (Brian Bowser) Shepard, Patricia Muntean, and Cheryl Grueser; 1 son David (Carrie) Barker; 1 brother William (Darlene) Randolph; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews all of Canton.

She was cremated by her wishes. A memorial service will be held at the Canton Freewill Baptist Church on Harmont Ave NE at 4 pm, June 28, with Pastor Marilyn Roman officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to services.  There will be a dinner following immediately after the services.
