Gilbert E. Hartman, 64, of Canton, passed away Monday, September 26th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on August 25, 1958, a son of the late Charles and Sarah (Welch) Hartman. A professional drywaller and finisher, Gilbert loved riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Survived by sister Charlene (Norman Stutler) Black, of Carrollton; grandson Matthew; 3 nephews Shawn Black, Chad Stutler, Charles Stutler; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews; great-great-nieces and many other loving family members and friends including beloved companion of many years Diane Woods as well as dog Zoey. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 30th at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends with a pot luck meal will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 2nd at 1219 Arlington Ave SW, Canton.
