Glenn "Bud" Porter, 83, of Canton,Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 26th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Bellaire, Ohio on April 11, 1941, a son of the late Charles E. and Gertrude (Bennington) Porter, also preceded in death by 5 sisters, and 6 brothers. Survived by his wife Elaine (Carpenter) Porter; 2 daughters Denise (Rick) Tomlinson, Deanne Back; son Neil Porter; 2 grandchildren Ryne Wiley, Shelby Back; 2 great-grandchildren Stephen, Reghan; best friend Paul Sumthiner; as well as many nieces; nephews; family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
