Glenn Leroy Holcomb, 72, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, February 13th, in his home, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Fayette, West Virginia on July 8, 1951, a son of the late Willow and Rosetta (Pearl) Holcomb, also preceded in death by birth mother Flisty Starcher, brother Robert Holcomb, and grandson Christopher Lindell. Glenn worked at various trucking companies as a truck driver for 37 years before retiring. Survived by 5 daughters Deanna (Nathan) Saulsgiver, of Massillon, Glenda (Alton) Stuber, of Massillon, Natasha Holcomb, of Canton, Flisty Sims, of Clay, West Virginia, and Robin (Travis) Williams, of Surfside Beach, South Carolina; 3 sons Maxwell Holcomb, of Clay, West Virginia, Alex (Summer) Hilgert, of Dickson, Tennessee, and Dominik (Chelsea) Hilgert, of Canton; 4 sisters Mary Pflugradt, of Florida, Monica Astemborski, of Florida, Rita Bartlett, of West Virginia, and Peggy Traub, of West Virginia; brother James Holcomb, of West Virginia; 20 grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren, family members and friends. The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
