Gloria Mae Humiston, 93, of North Canton, formerly of Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away Thursday, February 8th, at St. Lukes Lutheran Home following a lengthy illness. Born in Bacon Hill, NY on March 29, 1924, a daughter of the late James Edward and Florence (Poirier) Greenwalt; also preceded in death by her husband, Norman John Humiston Sr., who died November 5th, 2012. One of Gloria's greatest accomplishments was raising her children while her husband was a prisoner of war during WWII. Survived by 3 daughters Bonnie Young, of Porter Corners, NY, Connie Hayes, of Gansevoort, NY, Ann (Dave) Mihalek, of North Canton; 2 sons Norman (Lynn) Humiston, of Schylerville, NY, Terry (Barbara) Humiston, of Saratoga Springs, NY; also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
