Obituary
Harold R. Alanen, 87, of Massillon passed away Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at Aultman Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Laminga, Michigan on March 31, 1925, the son of the late Reino and Eleanor (Junttonen) Alanen. Employed as a painter/decorator and served in the U.S. Army as a PFC. during WW II.
Survived by his wife Kathleen (Harris) Alanen to whom he married December 23, 1950; two sons Richard Alanen of Massillon, Robert (Diann) Alanen of Spring Grove, Illinois and many other nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Illinois.
