Harold J Echelberry, 82, of Akron, passed away Saturday, August 29th, at Summa Health System of Akron following a 3 week illness. Born in New Philadelphia, on August 27, 1933, and was employed as a salesman for Keebler Company of Akron for 30 years, retiring in 1996. A member of Eastwood Bretheran Church of Akron. Preceded in death by his parents Everett L. and Edna J. (Deibel) Echelberry, daughter Constance Maddox, 2 brothers Alvin and Kenneth Echelberry, sister Jeanette Echelberry. Survived by his wife Esther H (Deibel) Echelberry; 1 daughter Pamela J Echelberry, of Talmadge; 2 sons Gary Echelberry of Akron, Bruce (Karen) Echelberry, of Graham, NC; 2 sisters Betty L Echelberry, Doris A Gump both of New Philadelphia; 2 brothers Leland E Echelberry, of Massillon, Ronald R Echelberry, of New Philadelphia; 7 granchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
