Helen C. Drozda (Zubetz), age 99, of Canton, Ohio, died Thursday, October 13, 2022. She was born on July 29, 1923, in Canton to the late Peter and Luba (Pavisic) Zubetz. She was a member of Christ the Servant Parish at Our Lady of Peace Church. She was also a life member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America.  She was skilled at embroidery, knitting and sewing. In her early years, before getting married and having children, she worked as a secretary for the railroad. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael A. Drozda, whom she was married to for 58 years. She is survived by her sister – Mary Rukavina of Canton, two daughters – Lani Drozda of North Canton and Patti (Jeff) Shaul of Yardley, PA, granddaughter Alexandra Ebright of Brooklyn, NY, special person Kathy Ott of North Canton and multiple family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 19th at Our Lady Of Peace in Canton with Father Scott Kopp as Celebrant. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services also in the church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, to follow.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to St. Luke's, especially the caregivers of the Dogwood unit and the Southern Hills unit for their wonderful care of Helen. Also, thanks to Mercy Hospice for their care.
