Helen L. Ritchie, 85, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at The Affinity Hospital of Massillon following a lengthy illness.

Born in Wheeling Junction, W. Virginia on June 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Howard Edie and Victoria (Cohen) Hupp also preceded in death by her husband William Ritchie, died November 19th 1997 and a brother Andy Hupp.

Helen is survived by 4 daughters Kathy (Joe) Wyatt of Raleigh, NC.,  Iona (Don) Coy of Canton,  Ruth (Bob) Vickers,  Mary Parks both of Sanford, NC;  5 sons Lloyd (Jill) Bell of NC., Gary Bell, Warren Parks, Robert Parks, Glenn (Tina) Parks of all of Canton; 4 sisters Effie Diehl of Alliance, Mary Kennedy of Canton, Eleanor Roettker of Texas, Rose McClay of Byesville; 3 brothers John Hupp, Jack Hupp, Glenn Hupp all of Canton; 23 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on  Saturday, December 8th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Elder Carlos D. Morris officiating; friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM also in the funeral home. Burial in Union Cemetery, Louisville.
