Helen Goldie Dover, 85, of Canton, passed away Thursday, January 22nd, at Mercy Medical Center.

Born in Jefferson Twp., PA on April 17, 1929, a daughter of the late Julius and Elizabeth (Kadar) Simon.

A partner with her brothers John and Julius at Loop Cafe and employed at Canton Corrugated Box. Former member of St. Pauls Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph J. Dover, 5 sisters Elizabeth Bertovich, Gertrude Dover, Rose Rock, Julia Steiger-Poling, Mary Myers, 2 brothers Julius Simon and Steve Simon and 4 adopted cousins Julia (Kendrick) Stearn, Mary (Kendrick) Gaylog, John Kendrick and George Kendrick. Survived by her daughter Renee Jordan; 2 Step Sons Ralph (Jennifer) Dover, Raymond Dover; 2 Sisters Marge Dostal and Katherine Sheperd; brother John Simon; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ the Servant Parish. Funeral services will be held Monday January 26th in the Christ the Servant Parish 853 39 ^th St NW Canton at 1 PM.
