Hilda Mayle, 78, of Canton passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Born in Paterson, New Jersey on August 10, 1947 a daughter of the late John Kenneth and Mary Katherine (Hoadley) Anderson. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by former husband but great friend Williard D. Mayle Sr, as well as 2 grandsons Matthew D. Mayle and Nicholas P. Mayle. Hilda was a feisty, free spirit with a FAFO kind of attitude who lived life her own way. She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and betting on the horse track. She was rarely seen without her Winston cigarettes and was known as quite the "traitor," cheering for her team the 49ers. Most of all, she loved her family very much, and they meant everything to her. Survived by daughter Ronda Bernardi; 2 sons Williard D. (Debroah) Mayle Jr., Stanley L. Mayle; 2 sisters Judith Ady, Crystal McMullen; brother John Kenneth Anderson Jr; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends. Per her wishes no services will be held at this time.
