Hobert "Denny" D. Ellyson, 65, of North Augusta, SC, formally of Perry Township, passed away Tuesday, February 21st, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Clarksburg, WV on October 7, 1951, a son of the late Hobert C. and Ruth B. (Dewez) Ellyson. Employed as a driller on oil rigs and a truck driver. Denny enjoyed riding Harleys and fishing, but most of all by making people laugh. He was always telling jokes. Survived by beloved caretaker Lynn (Keen) Johnson-Ellyson; son Bryan S. Weller, of Massillon; 2 sisters Deborah Ellyson, Patricia Diane Ellison, of both of New Mexico; 2 brothers Herman D. Ellyson, of South Carolina and Clarence D. Ellyson. There will be no services held at this time.
