Hubert Daniel Lucas, Jr., 38, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, March 29th, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Canton, on March 14, 1985, a son of Virginia M. (Doane) Lucas and the late Thomas James Lucas, Sr., also preceded in death by nephew James Lester Lucas, grandparents Hubert D. Lucas Sr., Lydia Lucas, and Carol Studney. Survived by son Hubert Lucas III; 4 sisters Dana (James Middlebrooks) Lucas, Sandra (Lee) Harvey, Samantha Lucas, Brenda (Demetrius) Lucas; 4 brothers Brian (Rhonda) Lucas, Thomas (Elizabeth) Lucas Jr., Richard (Maxine) Lucas, and Dana Starling; along with many nieces; nephews; family members; and friends; and beloved dog, Money. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, April 4th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to services.
