Irene V. Nau, 89, of Columbus and a life long resident of Canton, passed away Thursday, August 5th, at ProMedica Skilled Nursing of Dublin. Born in Canton on July 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Hiram F. and Mamie B. (Duckworth) Scroggs, also preceded in death by loving her husband Ralph J. Nau, married December 15th, 1951, died February 14th, 2014; 3 brothers William Scroggs, Hiram C. Scroggs, and Donald Scroggs. A former member of St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church of Canton. Survived by daughter Deborah (Irving "Buddy") Marks; 2 grandchildren Cdr. Michael (Danielle) Marks, Julie Marks, as well as 3 great-grandchildren Kellan, Everett, and Adeline Marks.
