Irene Ochsenbine, 81, of Minerva, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 13th due to a recent illness. Born January 10th, 1941 in Wellsville, Ohio a daughter of the late Donald Ross and Margaret Elizabeth (Girting) McCarty Sr., also preceded in death by siblings Edith (Frank) Cordia, Viola (Richard) Lake, Mary (Ray) Evans, son Donald Ross, Jr. and grandson William Ross Ochsenbine. Survived by 4 children Ronnie Rex McCarty, 62, of Minerva, Tammy (Joe) Jays, 59, of Okeechobee, Terry Lee Ochsenbine, 56, of Minerva, and Richard (Amy) Ochsenbine, 54, of Okeechobee, as well as 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved equally. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, November 18th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Thomas officiating. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior, also in the funeral home. A memorial dinner will follow the service at the Minerva Community Building, 123 Brock Ave Minerva, OH 44657.
