Irene A Pownall, 74, of New Philadelphia, passed away Saturday, September 15th, at the Truman House hospice facility. Born in Lewiston, Maine on March 10, 1944, a daughter of the late  Larry and Althea Caron, also preceded in death by daughter Diane Deangelo. Survived by daughter Sherry (Joe) Large, of New Philadelphia; son John Pownall, of New Hampshire; 5 grandchildren Nicole Lefever, Devin Pownall, Chelsea (Starnes) Marshall, Genesis Parry, Renee Yates; 3 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog Chloe. As per her wishes, there will be no services at this time.
