Ivan L Griffith, 77, of Canton, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at the McKinley Health Care Center. Born in Canton on June 3, 1942, a son of the late Homer and Luella (McFadden) Griffith, besides his parents he is preceded in death by his one and only true love Evelyn (Griffith) Zugsberger, 2 brothers Chuck and Jim Griffith, 2 sisters Marie Sanders and Carol Griffith. An avid supporter of McKinley sports, Ivan served in the U.S. Army as a SPC 4, attended the First Nazarene of Canton and was employed by Seiple Lithograph and the "Pennsylvania Railroad. He was larger than life. Ivan is survived by daughter Debra (Ricky) Taylor, of Canton; niece Linda Reardon; John "Frog" Griffith, Jimmy Evans, Edward "Pancho" Evans, Danny Evans; special friends Terry Hooper, Richard Hooper, Dennis Brill; grand-dog Karma; and grand-cat Mister Man.
