Jack Louis Westrem passed peacefully to be with his Lord & Savior on Friday August 9th, 2019. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 19th, 1943 to the late John R  & Edna Mildred (Oswald) Westrem, also preceded in death by sisters Dianne Fitzgerald, Marion Elea and granddaughter Barbara Westrem. Jack graduated from South High School of Youngstown Ohio in 1961. He served his country proudly during a brief enlistment of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the United States Postal Service with over 25 years of service. Jack was an Oakland Raiders fan, he enjoyed vintage cars and visiting local restaurants and establishments. Known for always having time for a smile and an encouraging word, he will always be remembered as being kind, gentle, a loving father, proud grandfather and a loyal friend. He will be missed by all. Survived by children David (Gale) Westrem and Jackie (Chuck) Westrem, grandchildren, Shayne, Samantha and David, great-granddaughter Grace, sister Joyce Hart, brother Arthur Westrem, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A memorial will be held Thursday August 22nd, 2019 at Masters Bar & Grill (1675 Trumbull Ave, Girard, OH 44420) between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00.
