Jacquelyn Marie Tharp, 76, of Canton, passed away Thursday, August 17th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Midland, Pennsylvania on December 4, 1946, of the late Nelson John Sr. and Daisy (Gomez) Tavares, also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Tharp Sr. and brother Nelson Tavares Jr. She was a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton. Survived by daughter Anissa (Jermaine) Scott; 2 sons Lawrence J Tharp Jr, Andre Tharp, all of Canton; 6 grandchildren Tariq, Alyssa, Hiram, Olivia, Abram, and Aiden; 2 great grandchildren Dominik and Isabella; as well as a host of family members and friends. Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
