Jaleeyah Garner, 16, of Canton, passed away Friday, June 6th. Born in Canton, on December 13, 2008, a  daughter of Jamaal L. Garner and the late Jennifer (Mcannally) Morrow. Besides her mother she is preceded in death by her aunt Sheila; grandmother, Barbara; great grandpa Reuben Garner Sr. and great grandma Virginia Garner. Jaleeyah had a heart so full it touched everyone around her. Full of life, endlessly caring, and with a sense of humor that could brighten the darkest day- she had a gift for making people feel seen and loved. Her smile didn't just light up a room, it stayed with you long after. Though her time here was short, her impact was immeasurable. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, and her light will continue to shine in all of us. The kindness she shared and the joy she brought will never be forgotten. Survived by father Jamaal (Kassie Clapper) Garner; step father Roberto; 6 sisters Jennia, Isabel, Demi, Jenesis, Jiyanna, Katera, Chianne; 4 brothers Romelo, Jeremiah , Rob, Tyquan; grandparents Rhonda (Robert Parker) Garner; 4 aunts Virginia, Chel, Seradia (Jason) Minor, Tracy; 2 uncles Denarel, Glenn; 4 great aunts Yvonne, Yvette, Victoria, Joan; 2 great uncles Stanley, Foster; god mother Jasmine; many cousins including Jasiarae, Dajanay, Tanisha, Nikki, Lena, Trazell, Jwan, TraRese, Tionna, Marcus, Elonda, Hozzie; special friends Ta'Bias, Bresia, Aliryanna; family friends Shirley Turpin, Chandler Johnson, Camiya Easter, Ja'meir Davidson, Dolisha, Brigette, Laterra, Christal, Sharayah, as well as many other friends and family members. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nader Botros, all of the medical staff and the security team at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital for the exceptional care and compassionate support during this difficult time. A Funeral service will be held in The Living Word Christian Fellowship Church, 701 Broad Ave NW Canton 44708, on June 23rd at noon. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the time of service. A burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
