James Henry Brooks, 69, of Canton, passed away, Thursday, February 8th, in his home. Born in Canton on May 9, 1954, a son of the late Henry and Dorothy (Barton) Brooks, also preceded in death by 2 brothers Charles Brooks Sr. and Fred Brooks. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Survived by daughter Cammie (Marcus) Brooks; 3 sisters Darlene Duarte, Temeah (Bonnie) Harvey, and Dorinda (Ren) Stroud; 2 brothers  Mitchell Brooks and Terrance Brooks; 5 grandchildren Camya, Markia, Anaja, Marcus, and Marionna Jeter; as well as many family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, on Sunday, February 18th, in the St Paul Ame Church. 1800 Tuscarawas St E, Canton, Ohio 44707.
