James C. Brown, 69, of Canton, passed away Thursday, February 17th, at St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aging. Born in Akron, on November 24, 1952, a son of the late James D. and Marilyn (Stocker) Brown, also preceded in death by son Jason Brown. Always well dressed, James enjoyed music, playing pool, Jaguar's and Cadillac's as well as a good bottle of scotch. He is survived by 4 sisters, Joyce Kassal, Marian Kirkpatrick, Kathleen Carey, and Barbara Dixon; 5 brothers, Thomas, Michael, Carl, John, and David Brown and a host of other family members and loving friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 7th in St. Joseph's Church, Massillon. Burial at Calvary Cemetery to follow.
