Born in Canton, on July 5, 1948, a son of the late James E Gailey Sr and Doris (Jacobson), he is also preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Shihock) ,daughter Debbie. sister Margaret, and brother Thomas. Survived by companion of 14 years Irene Drummond 1 step-daughter Connie Hite, of Canton; 2 sons James Gailey III, Christoper Gailey, of Canton; 1 step-daughter Connie Hite, of Canton; 1 sister Rebecca Lorenz, of Canton; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
