Obituary
James R Grant, 85, of Massillon passed away Saturday, November 22nd, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Brewster on June 18, 1929. Preceded in death by his parents James and Alice (Cunningham) Grant; and his wife Eleanor A. (DeLong) Grant. Employed as a Roll Grinder for Republic Steel of Massillon, for 39 years. Survived by daughters Laurie Grant of Massillon, Jamie (Carl) Stitzel of Poland, Barbara Christian of Hudson, Terri Shoemaker of Canton; son Bruce Grant of Nashville, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren. Gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 26th from 6 pm- 8 pm in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home. Family requests memorial tributes to The Stark County Humane Society.
