James Hendrickson, 62, of Canton passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026 inside his home. Born on February 3, 1964 in Canton, he was the son of the late James and Rose (Carani) Hendrickson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepsons Kenneth Miller and Matthew Daviduk. James was a true lover of music, with a passion that could be heard throughout his life. He especially enjoyed the music of Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, KISS, and many other artists. His love of music was reflected in his impressive collection of hundreds of records, each one holding a special place in his collection and memories. By profession, James was a painter, a craft that allowed him to express his creativity and talent. Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karol (Miller) Hendrickson; 2 sisters Tina Cantera, Danene Tello, both of Canton; daughter Erica Sills of Canton; stepdaughter Kimberly Daviduk of Akron; stepsons Joseph Daviduk of Youngstown, Michael Daviduk of Canton; 12 grandchildren; 3 nephews; 2 nieces; 9 great nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
