James Bruce Kagey Sr. age 66, of Louisville, went home to the lord on January 26, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Born August 31, 1957 in Canton, a son of the late Morris Kagey and Evelyn (Peterson) Dreher, also preceded in death by son James "Magoo" Kagey Jr. Jimmy graduated from Louisville High School and was a veteran of the US Army 82nd Airborne. Jimmy had a great love for the outdoors and fires on a warm summer evening. He loved a warm Genesee beer and enjoyed hanging out with his many life-long friends. Jimmy is survived by granddaughter Ahnalysia Kagey; brother Doug Kagey; step-son Jeffery Klein-Taylor; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
