James H. Lorenze

James H. Lorenze, 63, of Canton passed away on Wednesday, May 14 in the Alliance Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. James was born in Canton on December 2, 1950, preceded in death by his step-father Claude Hilton and a sister Jo Ellen Harmon.

Survived by his mother Norma Jean (Thomas) Hilton; loving wife of 42 years, Marietta (Castle) Lorenze, married August 19, 1970; one daughter Mary Jo (Robert) Huntsman; one son Jim Lorenze both of Canton; two sisters Pamela Lorenze of Canton, Elanie Owens of Florida; five brothers Ronnie, Dan, Kevin Lorenze, Victor, Claude Hilton; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as a special granddaughter Jo Ellen Dorsey and a special great-grandson Logan Dorsey.

Funeral Services will be held in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 7:30 PM on Sunday, May 18. The family will receive friends same-day beginning at 6:00 PM until time of service also in the funeral home.
