James P. "JAY" Needs 1951-2015

Age 64, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Sunday Nov, 15, 2015. Jay was born Jan 6, 1951, in Canton to Harry and Gladys (Meeks) Needs. He lived a simple life. His favorite teams were the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. His favorite food was Italo's Pizza. He and his brother Richard also loved eating McDonald's and Wendy's, as well as staying up at night to watch movies (especially Elvis and Don Knotts movies) and listening to Elvis music. Jay Enjoyed talking about the old days, and loved Ford Vehicles. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Ricky Allen Needs. He is survived by his sister Susan (Forest) Milhoan of Louisville, brother Richard Needs of the home, and Brother Michael (Renae) Needs of Louisville; as well as eight nephews and nieces (Steve and Debbie; Rich, Scott, Christopher, and John; Rebecca and Michael). Jay's family would like to thank Dr. Teston and the staff of University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center, as well as the staff of Ohio State University Cancer Center. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Followed by burial at St. John's Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home.
