James Richard Starr, 46, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, September 6th, at Meadow Wind Nursing Home. Born in Canton, on October 15, 1976, a son of Carol (Gauer) Swisher and the late Norman Starr, also preceded in death by grandfather Rich Gauer. Besides his mother, he is survived by 2 daughters Ashley Starr, Kerston Shonce,  both of Massillon; 3 sons Trenton Starr, Gage Shonce, both of Massillon, Nicholas Davis, of Belfontaine; 2 brothers Bryan Starr and Randy Starr; grandmother Mary Ann Gauer; as well as childhood best friend Erick Zoumberakis and close friend Candy Shonce. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
