James LeRoy Thomas, 79, of Massillon, passed away Monday, September 27th, in his home. Born in Massillon on January 1, 1942, a son of the late Gust and Betty (Gamery) Thomas, also preceded in death by companion of 20 years Connie Guy. He served in the U.S. Marines. Survived by daughter Jocelyn; 3 sons James, Justin, Mike; sister Jean and step children Elmer, Ronnie and Samantha as well as numerous grandchildren. There will be a burial of cremains at Sunset Hills at a later date.
