James L Wells, 77, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, November 21st, at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia following a brief illness. Born in Coshocton on November 3, 1940, a son of the late Russell and Clarice (McCullough) Wells, also preceded in death by sister Maryanne Carpenter. Employed as a truck driver at Superior Carriers for 18 years before retiring in 2013. Survived by  his wife Merry Ann (Johnson) Wells, married Febuary 28th, 1959, a daughter Robin, of Fresno, 2 sons Greg (Beth) Wells, of Richfield, Shane (Ryann) Wells, of Dover, sister Martha Leavengood, of Fresno; also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
