Jayce Hancock, 30, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016, unexpectedly. Born on June 6, 1986, the son of mother Falana Hancock, stepfather Charles Zollicoffer, father James Cain, and stepmother Melanie Cain, also survived by his grandmother Lea Merriweather; 2 daughters Jaylah and Chloe Hancock; partner Cheryl Roach; 3 sisters Jaria Cain, Asia Zollicoffer, Jenay White; 2 brothers Jerrik Hancock, Jaymes Cain; 3 aunts Cynthia (Paul) Minto, Riva Dumas-Ogletree, Theresa Merriweather; uncle Robert Eric Merriweather; and a host of cousins and friends. Preceded in death by grandmother Nellie Mae Cain, 2 cousins Devon and Xzavier Merriweather and uncle Christopher Cain.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends may call from noon to one prior to services.
