Jed Allen Hanni, 58, of Newcomerstown, passed away Sunday, November 29th, in his home. Born in Stonecreek on September 18, 1962, a son of the late Melvin E and Jessie Mae (Clark) Hanni, he was also preceded in death by son Shane Hanni; maternal grandparents Jesse Clark and Erma Wade Clark of West Virginia and paternal grandparents Florence and Isadore Hanni. Survived by sister Linda (Randall) Tope, of Dover; 3 brothers Rodney (Renee) Hanni, of Beloit, Jeffrey (Debbie) Hanni, of Stonecreek, Shawn (Lisa) Hanni, of West Virginia and close friend whom he considered a brother Charles Hunt as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Jed had great faith, a deep love for the Lord and great compassion for those in need. He had a contagious sense of humor that would keep you on a roll laughing. He was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed. In keeping with his wishes he was cremated and there will be no services.
