Jeffrey Scott Bennett Sr., of Alliance, OH, passed away at the age of 69 on December 11, 2021. Jeff was a member of Boy Scout Troop #50 in Alliance, Ohio where he was an Eagle Scout with bronze, silver, and gold Palms. Jeffrey was also awarded his God and Country and Brotherhood of The Order of the Arrow. He was a scout leader helping younger scouts learn skills for advancement.  He walked the paths of numerous scout camps like Tuscazoar and The Philmont Scout Ranch in NM. Jeff was a radio amateur and AARP volunteer tax preparer with VITA and TCE for many years. Jeff was an avid golfer, fisherman, and bowler along with his long time friend Joe Rose. They fished many lakes and rivers together including Sippo Lake, where he went fishing with his grandchildren. They also bowled in several pro-am tournaments together at Riviera Lanes. Preceded in death by his father and mother Jack W. Bennett (W8WEN), Martha S. Bennett. Survived by sons Jeffrey S. Bennett Jr. (Aimee Jo), Benjamin W. Bennett (Danielle); grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander, Dominic, Noah, Elayna; brothers Gregory A. Bennett (Denise), Bradley K. Bennett (Laura); various cousins; nephews; and nieces

His phone rang one last time at the sound of the train whistle God picked him up from the station to take him to his final destination.
