Jerold  Allan Petty, 66, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, January 30th, at Akron City Hospital. Born in Canton on April 2, 1957, he is survived by his mother Agnes Neisles; brothers Timothy Petty and Ralph Headley Jr.; sisters Tammy and Joe Fiori, Kimberly Salkeld, Dawn and Jeff Reynolds, and Shawn Bentivegna. He is also survived by ex- wife Phyllis Petty, numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; his church family; furbabies Coco and Belle. Jerold worked at Gentlebrook and also did work as an Uber driver. He enjoyed Nascar, tennis, and loved motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his dad Charles Petty, grandparents Mable Morris-Petty and Frank Petty, and his sister Kelly Garlando. A Memorial Service will be held on Febuary 13th, in the Martindale Christian Fellowship Church, at 11 AM, with Pastor Steve Manko officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service in the church. There will be a luncheon following the service.
