Jerry "Flea" Cargnel, 77, of New Philadelphia, passed away Thursday, March 12th, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dover, on September 24, 1942, a son of the late Geno and Lottie (Gladstone) Cargnel, also preceded in death by daughter Kimberly Cargnel, as well as 2 brothers Gene Cargnel and Jack Cargnel. Jerry proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Besides his wife of 50 years, Sherryl L. (Barnes) Cargnel, he is survived by daughter Michelle (Steve) Gooding, of New Philadelphia; 3 sons Mike (Jill) Cargnel, of New Philadelphia, Christopher Cargnel, of Connecticut, Matt (Jennifer) Cargnel, of New Philadelphia; brother Richard Cargnel, of New Philadelphia; and 8 grandchildren.
