John William Fether, 73, of East Canton, passed away Monday, July 24th, at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Canal Pointe in Akron. Born in Canton on November 1, 1949, a son of the late William and Carole (Saunders) Fether, also preceded in death by sister Betty Schopmeyer and 2 brothers Vance Fether and Shane Fether. Survived by 2 sons John William Fether, of Land O' Lakes, Florida, Jason Fether, of Georgia; 5 sisters Susan Eakle, Mary Mathes, Sherry (Clay) Douglas, Doreen Kelly, Tammy (Joe Johnson) Rohrer; 2 brothers Darrell (Elaine) Fether, Curtis (Tracie) Fether; 5 grandchildren Danielle (Hunter), Delanie, Darcy, Tristin, Sara; 2 great-grandchildren Major, Octavia and companion Joyce Gilger as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
