John Elmer Jenkins Sr, 88, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, June 10th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Wellsville on September 13, 1935, a son of the late Otto and Myrtle (Wilson) Jenkins, also preceded in death by son John Jenkins II and 11 brothers and sisters. John proudly served in the United States Airforce for 4 years. He is survived by his loving wife Joan (Dawson) Jenkins; daughter Julie (Donald) Holley; 2 sisters Jane Kevan and Shirley Prince-Calahan; grandson Micheal (Mandalay Chou Chan) Freday; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. No services will be held at this time.
