John W. "Bill" "Jocko" Mahoney, Jr, 56, of Canton, passed away Friday, January 23rd, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Mansfield on January 15, 1959. Preceded in death by his father John William Mahoney Sr. and sister Carolyn Kilgore. Survived by his daughter Rachel Curry, of Minerva;

3 sons Josh, Luke and Jason; mother Mary V. Stephens; companion of 14 years Delores Archibald, of Canton; 4 sister Delores Castello, Sandra Eakle, Lynn Kondrach and Rita Jute; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and  other extended family. Memorial service will be held Saturday 1 PM in the Valley Chapel Brethren in Christ, 1045 Trump Ave NE East Canton, OH 44730 with Pastor Chuck Burkett officiating. Memorial gathering and meal to follow from 2-5 PM in the Philomatheon Society, 2701 W. Tuscarawas St Canton, OH 44708.
