Obituary
John W. Underwood, Jr., 75, of Canton, passed away Friday, October 13th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, on March 26, 1942, a son of the late John W. and Margaret (Whalen) Underwood. Preceded in death by sister Barbara Demos, brother Ronald Underwood, son in-law Kevin Newton. Employed as a beef shipper at Sugardale Foods for over 30 years and also a long time member of the Eagles 141. Survived by 2 daughters Mary Newton, of North Canton, Susan Newton, of Massillon, son John T. (Vicki) Underwood, of Louisville, 2 sisters Betty Winkler, of Buchannon, WV, Dorthy Morris, of North Canton, brother Wesley Day, of Carrollton; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and beloved companion Pat Beitzel.
