John Weston, 81, of Canton, passed away Friday, December 28th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Nelsonville, OH on January 29, 1937, a son of the late James and Flossie (Coakley) Weston, also preceded in death by 2 sons Jonathan and Steven Weston and brother Robert Coakley. Employed for many years as a cement mason and was a member of the American Legion Post 44 of Canton. Served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict as a PFC. Besides his wife Linda J Weston, married March 29, 1982, he is survived by 2 daughters Laura Weston, of Gainesville, FL, Peggy (Tom) Brown, of Canal Winchester, OH; 3 sons John Weston, Bobby Weston, both of West Virginia; step-son Leland Barnes, of Canton; 3 brothers Butch Smith, of Nelsonville, OH, James Weston Jr, of Racine, OH, Bill Weston, of Tampa, FL, 19 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
