John A. Whitacre II



John A. Whitacre II 56, of Canton passed away Tuesday, August 14th,  born in Canton on August 5, 1956, the son of the late John A. and Christine (Padermos) Whitacre.

Employed for 34 years as the Marketing Operations Director for the Suarez Corporation Industries of N. Canton. A member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Canton. A 32 degree Mason in the Canton Masonic Lodge F&AM #60, and a member of the Elks Lodge of Canton. Survived by his wife Stephanie (Manoff) Whitacre to whom he married August 20th, 1988; sister Beth Whitacre of Allen, TX; brother Brian Whitacre of Ft. Worth, TX;  his faithful friend Alexander; brother and sister -in-law Mikel and Toni Manoff of Canton; 4 nephews James (Haley Koenig), Mikel II, Matthew, Nicky Manoff;  special cousin Jim Ventura of N. Canton; his true friends in life Jerry and Michael Heard of Tampa FL., Chip and Lois Fohl of Marlington, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday August 18th, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home, with Stan Hinshaw officiating.  Friends may call 6-8 PM Friday also in the Funeral Home.
