John Randy Wix, 63, of Peninsula, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 22nd, 2022 at Akron City Hospital. Born in Barberton on August 11, 1958, the son of Roscoe and the late Janice (Thomas) Wix. Randy grew up in Kenmore and graduated from Central Hower High School in 1977. He lived in California and Arizona for several years. After returning to Akron, he sold cars for multiple dealerships. A person who never met a stranger, Randy enjoyed traveling, drawing, swimming, and music. Besides his father, he is survived by daughter Beverly Wix, of Byesville; son Brandon Wix, of Tempe, Arizona; 2 sisters Pamela (Jeff) Eisenbrei, of Homestead, Florida and Renee (Paul) Joliat, of Akron as well as many aunts, nephews, and cousins. Final services are private however John's final resting place will be with his grandparents, Ray and Evelyn Thomas in Greenlawn Cemetery.
