Jose A Ayala, 88, of Massillon, passed away Saturday, July 20th, at Amherst Meadows Nursing Home after a few months of illness. Born in Brownsville, Texas on October 26, 1930, a son of the late Mary Castillo. Besides his wife V. Ruth (Motz) Ayala, he is survived by 2 sons Arnold and Paul Patton; step-children Denny Motz, Cindy Bishop, Michelle Pettis; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; loving family; and close friends. He will be missed, but we know he's in Heaven and no longer in pain. A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, July 28th in the Canton Calvary Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Michael Adkins officiating.
