Obituary

Today, we have lost one of God's special children, Joseph Louis Francis Champagne. He will be deeply missed by his foster fathers, Scotty Gainey and Franklin (Kevin) Mayle, his brother Michael Davy (FL.) along with his niece Michaela and nephew Michael; his sister and her husband Chrystal (Steve) Champagne (Swan); his very special nurses, Heather and Lynn; shopping buddies Brian, Ethan, and Wyatt; his staff who always gave him excellent care; and everyone else who was a part of his life and care. He was employed by Lomeda Services and will be sadly missed by all the lives he touched there. He was an avid Stealers and Rod Stewart fan. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Norma Jean (Walton) Davy and his father Joseph Champagne. His beloved dog, Peanut, who survives and who he showered with love and affection will continue on, bestowing those same characteristics he learned from his master to all of those left behind.

A memorial luncheon will be held on February 7 at Foltz Committee Center 224 N Woods St East Canton from 2-4 pm with Chaplin Melvin Saylor officiating. His remains will be entombed at Newman Cemetery at a later date.
